Linda's Chicken and Dumplings

Ingredients
- chicken soup, meat withheld
- 2 C flour
- 1 t salt
- 1/4 t baking powder
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2/3 C chicken broth, lukewarm
Instructions
- Put flour, salt, baking powder, egg, and 2/3C broth into a bowl and mix until the mixture forms a ball. Divide into 2 or 3 equal portions, and roll out to 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 2 inch squares and dry for 3 hours.
- Drop the dumplings into boiling chicken soup, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Add the chicken to warm.
- Plate and serve.
